Route of Parks

“Between two rivers, one of which is called Sar and the other one Sarela, is located the city of Compostela, the most blissful and sublime of the cities of Spain”, as states the Calixtino Codex manuscript.

A visit to Santiago de Compostela would not be complete without a walk through the green lung of the city, bordering its two rivers. This tourist train route brings us closer to some of its historical parks and forests that other travelers and pilgrims crossed a long time ago…

Itinerary

Starting from the Obradoiro Square, where the Cathedral of Santiago is located, we can admire the main parks and places of interest of the city. From the train cars we will see the Music Park with the Auditorium of Galicia, San Domingos de Bonaval and the Charlemagne Park, in the neighborhood of Fontiñas. We will pass through the Galician Forest on the slopes of Mount Gaiás and the City of Culture, through the Belvís Park and the Collegiate Church of Sar, and we will cross the Alameda before returning to the Obradoiro Square.

The route of the train may undergo some variation due to road works. Sorry for the inconvenience.
