GENERAL CONTRACTING CONDITIONS

1. Identification of the parties

In compliance with Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, we inform you that the website https://trenturisticosantiago.com/ is owned by Autocares Rías Baixas, SL, with CIF number B36019990, registered office at Igrexa-Salcedo, number 37, postal code 36143, Pontevedra, and contact email address arbp@autocaresriasbaixas.com and telephone number 986856622. The company is registered in the Commercial Registry of Pontevedra, Volume 4012, Page 113, Entry 31, Sheet PO7500.

2. Purpose

This document regulates the general terms and conditions governing the relationship between the provider, Autocares Rías Baixas, S.L., and the user when visiting the website https://trenturisticosantiago.com/, and specifically, the purchase and booking of tourist services offered through the website, consisting of tourist train transport services in the city of Santiago de Compostela.

Acceptance of this document implies that the user: has read, understands and comprehends its contents, has sufficient legal capacity to contract, and agrees to the obligations herein established.

3. Contracting procedure

The booking and contracting process may be carried out in Spanish, English, and Galician. The purchasing procedure follows these steps:

  • Access to all pre-contractual information about the service offered through the website.
  • Access to ticket reservations through the “Buy your ticket” button, where the desired date is selected by clicking on the calendar day; then, the schedule is chosen, showing the available seats for each session; next, fares are selected according to the age of the passengers, clearly displaying the age ranges for each rate and allowing multiple tickets per range; finally, the user can select their preferred seat on a color-coded seating chart of the tourist train according to availability. The Santiago tourist train offers seats for persons with reduced mobility (PRM). Availability will be guaranteed upon prior booking through the form available on the website or by calling 981537222 at least 48 hours before the train’s departure. PRM seat reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by customer service.
  • A summary of the selections made will be displayed at all times.
  • On the right margin and at the bottom of the page, the option to “continue to payment” will be available. The user will have 20 minutes to complete the required personal information, indicate whether an invoice is desired (which will be sent to the provided email), and accept the privacy policy and these general terms and conditions. Finally, the user may click “complete purchase.”
  • Access to the payment gateway will then be enabled, allowing only payment by bank card. Afterwards, a link to “download tickets” will be available, and the purchased tickets will also be automatically sent via email.

4. Prices and taxes

All displayed prices include applicable VAT unless expressly stated otherwise. The company reserves the right to modify prices without prior notice; however, prices valid at the time of purchase will be respected.

5. Cancellation and refund policy

The contracting process may be completed with or without prior registration on the website. In the first case, a username and password will be provided to access all previous orders via the icon located in the upper right corner of the screen. The same icon also allows access without registration using an ID, purchase reference, and locator (as shown on the ticket) to manage the booking.

The booking management system allows users to re-download tickets, modify the date, time, or seat, and/or cancel the reservation. Confirmation will be sent to the same email address provided. In case of a refund, payment will be reimbursed to the same bank card used for the purchase within a maximum of 15 business days, less any duly informed management fees charged by Autocares Rías Baixas, S.L. for the change or cancellation.

Cancellations or modifications may be made up to one hour before the scheduled service start time.

No refunds or changes will be made if the user fails to appear at the scheduled time or arrives late.

6. Data protection

Personal data provided during the purchase process will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on the website, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

7. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of disputes, both parties expressly submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Pontevedra.
